How do i know if I'm an expert? This is a common question I get all the time especially if people who are starting out a business i am unsure and don't have the confidence to market their brand their brand, their product, their service, and here's what is feel.
I say you are an expert the moment you decide you're one. Think about it every single skill can be mastered the moment you decide I'm going to be an expert at this topic', that's when you actually take consistent action and making that happen. This could be sales, this could be writing a book, this could be internet marketing this could be investing. When you decide you're an expert, think about it nobody ever wakes up in the morning and say," You know what ? I think today I'm expert. I think today I'm finally ready to publish my book because that's when people will now listen to me.cause now I'm an expert. That never happens,"
The day you decide you're an expert, that's when you make things happen and that moment could be right now. When it comes to being an expert. I'm talking about coming from two different angles, The expert could be coming from results which is what ultimately you want to be doing, be a practitioner, implementing it and as a direct result of being a practitioner having the results so that you can use the results to help other people. On the other hand if you are starting out and you have no prior experience, the other angle would be being a reporter the angle of being a reporter going out there doing the due diligence, finding out what's working in your industry right now, interviewing the right people and then using that resource to be the expert in your field.
Now, if you think about it, even the best book of all time, well, maybe not the best book of all time but has sold over a 100 million copies, the book Think and Grow Rich in the area of money and wealth if you read the book and realise you will realise that Napoleon Hill when he wrote the book that has sold over 100 million copies, but when he wrote the book he was not an expert, but he never came from the angle of results, he didn't come from the angle "Look, I may not be rich yet but now these are what all of these rich people are saying." And that book made him very, very, very, rich That's what i mean by "You are an expert the moment you decide to be one."
It doesn't necessarily mean that you're coming from the angle of results but from the angle of going out there and finding out what's working so that eventually you're a better practitioner
